DIY Framing at Home

McGuyver-style picture framing at home: a few sticks of balsa wood, some glue, rubber bands, and a nail file (I used the file on the Swiss Army Knife, but that was a bit of a hassle). Just cut the frames to your desired length (4 inches in length on mine), sand down the cut edge so it's smooth, glue and clamp using rubber bands. Balsa wood is so light and easy to cut, this is a great starter kit for a home framing kit.
