Peace/Revolution
...or a peaceful revolution?
This project of mine has been posted around the web recently (including We Love Typography and ffffound!). And someone in Seattle just asked me if I have t-shirts of these. So maybe I'll start a little online shop or something of selected projects. Any suggestions on the best route to take for this type of venture?

You Say Matisse, I Say Mattias
Today I wanted to have some fun with color. Who better to inspire
me than Matisse? Instead of completely ripping him off, I thought I
would try to convey this quote's message first and foremost. The playfulness and use of color itself pay homage to the master just fine.

Something Only A Mother Nature Could Love...
... because clearly the human race doesn't seem too concerned. But that's youth for ya - make a mess and let Mom clean it up. Once you get older, you start to realize that everything doesn't revolve around you - so you mature, appreciate your Mother, and begin to take responsibility for your actions.

A Scientific Fluff Piece
Bunnies, puppies - you name it. After extensive research, I have generated a scientific image of what cute, fluffy animals perceive during their developmental years. (Click to enlarge)

Design Nowhere Within Reach
An image that people have gotten a kick out of recently is this little math equation designed by Craig Damraurer. It's so true... another equation to throw into the mix would be the following:
Red Blue Chair, Gerrit Rietveld. c. 1923

What Time Clone Are You In?
Doppelgänger. What an amazing word. So amazing in fact, that instead of being lucky enough (or unlucky as folklore has it) of having even one doppelgänger, I have numerous look-a-likes.

The 2010 Fjörd Taurus
With American cars being made so shittily for so many years, Ford has recently teamed up with the entire country of Norway to create the best driving experience possible (for an American car). All production and schematics will take place in Norway, and you get to drive your new auto fresh off of the factory line!
... and then over the nearest fjörd. Since the car will be hideously ugly, under-performing, and an overall horrible riding experience, Ford and Norway think the owner should derive some pleasure from the vehicle. So send it kareening over a gorgeous fjörd landscape while breathing in that pure, mountain air! Destroy something other than the atmosphere for a change...

Comments About Commenting
Okay, I've had a few complaints about people not being able to comment unless you were a dignified blogger yourself. I was unawares of that and now ANYONE can comment (if they want to). Power to the people!!!
Animal Alphabet
Preliminary sketches for an Animal Alphabet... not sure how to finalize this yet - keep it black line drawings? Fill them in with
color? Too distracting maybe? Something is missing still...
Also, I'm in desperate need of a new i, t and possibly u... n was
no picnic, but now one of my faves. (Click to enlarge)

InfoLaughic
Hmmm, does this data represent anything I should be worried about? For the record, I was bowling and involved in a dance-off... both of which I won. (Click to enlarge)

Eyes Wide Shut
When closed, their beauty has a quiet sense of power, like how I imagine standing at the bottom of the ocean would feel. When open wide, they pierce right through me with an energy matched only by the sun.

Try To Be More Thoreau Next Time
Author of quote's edited version, unknown. I couldn't find an image of this anywhere, so I decided to make my own.

Underneath the Bermuda Triangle
Don't ask what the Arctic Rhombus would look like because I
just don't know. It's shocking though, no? With such a negative association, it's surprising to see how happy everyone is.
